For the longest time, I would hungrily download Meet The Press every Sunday evening from iTunes – anxious to catch the latest political nuances and news – and not distracted by the visual.
And this Friday, while returning my car to Avis at Kansas City International Airport – I learnt that he was dead.
Tim Russert was in a rarified group of political commentators who believed in a political discourse not through rhetoric, but through information and facts. He wouldn’t shy of asking politicians and presidential candidates questions that were based in research. He would be missed.
