I recently had a similarly positive experience with Sprint; I went over on text messages rather significantly, due to events in my life. And the (english-speaking!) representative on the phone make everything better, by manipulating the system. They lost $150 and gained my goodwill.

We were with Alltel before going to Sprint. Why did we change? When we would go into Alltel with questions about our service or phone, we would have to wait approx. 30 minutes to talk to someone. So, we left them once our contract was up and went to Sprint. We were immediately waited on (impressed) and they hooked us up with the phone I wanted. However, in order to go on my husband's account, we had to renew our contract (first clue). Everything went fine until we were being charged for services I told them we didn't want. We resolved that, but when we asked to make another change and add something to our service we were told we would have to renew our contract. WHAT! Alltel let us change as much as we wanted without renewing. Also, we traveled clear across town to talk to someone at Sprint, just to have one of their people lead us to a phone, dial it and have us speak to customer service. I could have done that from home and not wasted the gas.
Our contract with Sprint will be up in February. After that, we're going back to Alltel (which will probably be Verizon by then, but that's ok. My sis has them and she loves them). We may have had to wait to see someone with Alltel, but at least we talked to someone in person and no new contracts!

Sorry to hear about your experience. What I would recommend is that when you call in, ask for the supervisor.

Also, it might make sense to cancel your service for all 8 lines - Sprint does not want to lose subscribers now and would go to any length to keep you with them.

Again, wish you all the very best and hope you get your issue sorted out.

I am glad to hear that you have had success with the customer service at Sprint. I haven't had such luck. I am going to try a different person this time and hopefully I can get results. We have 5 phones on an account that is over 8 years old. After switching plans on 2 of the phones we had excessive charges for 2 months. The communication Sprint gave us was aweful. When we called about the first month they told us they would look at the account and get right back to us. Needless to say that didn't happen. This went on for weeks. By the time we called and started to complain again the next bill was due. We ended up not getting any help at all and had to pay an enormous bill just to keep the phones on. Like I said, I am trying a different avenue and hope that I get the rep that you did.
